what i'm wearing † retro.. ariel.. ?

i keep on getting told that my hair makes me look like ariel from the little mermaid -- and let it be known that i am so okay with that.

 

today's ensemble (french accent, please): 

• sheer cheetah print blouse, gift
• velvet dress, Forever 21, 4.00 
• tights, H&M, 5.95
• gold bangle-turned-armband, gift
• bird skull necklace, French Connection, 16.00
• knuckleduster ring, ASOS, 8.00
• gold bull ring, Wildfox, 38.00
• mary jane platform, ASOS, 40.00  

the mary jane platforms are the third-most expensive shoes i own but i love them so and have no regrets. (the shoes of premiere cost are boots i wear nearly every day; in second place are boots i wear never. you win some and lose some.)

i was getting ready in a hurry or i would've worn something to poof out the skirt -- i think that would be cuter. i had on frilly bloomers underneath that are not pictured because a lady does not flash things of that manner.
